How to Loose Weight:
So since April i have lost over 30 pounds. I went from 157 to the 120's (not exactly suree what it is right now). Went from a 10 in pants (boderline 11-12) to a 5. I want to share how to loose weight in a healthy way.
 
1. Eating:
I would say what you eat is the most important thing in looseing weight and healthy living as a whole. I'm not going to tell you, "only eat fruits and veggie! No carbs! Oh and no fat or sugars!" because that for me at least would have been a very short diet. I would imagine most people need a treat now and then especially if you were like me eating fast food at least once a week. The key is to start cutting back.
My favorite food is Volcano Buritos from Taco Bell, i would always get 2. I started to get 1 when i went. Then i would start going only on a special day (Friday) or on a night that there was no time to make dinner. So i stopped eating it regurly and only ate it maybe once every 2 weeks. So i didn't stop cold turkey. As for meals at home, i used to have really bad eating habbits there too. I wouldn't eat lunch at school, have meal when i got home, then nibble on dinner, then eat another meal before i went to bed.
This you have to stop cold turkey however,'Eating almost three meals (not including breakfast) isn't healthy. So instead i ate a little something at school, a snack when i got home, Dinner at normal time, and if i was hungry a snack before bed,
So basically all of that was on moderation and portions kind of. Portions are key. They say having several small meals like snacks, maybe a salad, handful of nuts, a yogurt, even a sandwhich throughout teh day is better than just eating Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Also not eating anything all day and eating a lot at night isn't healthy. You are beter off to just eat during teh day and not eat dinner because you aren't burning it off then if you were to just chill out and go to bed for the night.
What to eat? the bag of chips or the apple? when you are hungry for a snack consider this.
-Did i already have those chips recently?
~yes. Go for the apple.
~No. go ahead have a few,
 
Am i really hungry?
~yes. answer the first question and go for that snack choice.
~no. don't eat anything because you are probably just bored.
 
Just make healthy choices.
 
So what we covered is,
~Junk food is fine in moderation. Its better to start off slow weaning off of it instead of quitting cold turkey,
~Don't starve yourself and eat later, eat through out the day.
~Make healthy choices
 

2. Exercise.
Now that you are eating better you probably feel better. When it comes to exerciseing ANYTHING is better than nothing! So even if you are walking around the mall thats better than watching tv. You don't have to go try out for Basketball, even though that would be great, all you have to do is get moving. Even if you just workout or exercise a few times a week, Get moving. This will help a lot.
 
3. Confidence
When you are looseing wieght you will start to feel better. Whether its 1 pound or 30 you will feel awesome. But throughout the process whether it be picking your snack, or running on the treadmill, think of a goal. Don't set goals like, i want to have Megan Foxs Body or Someone So's from my school, Simple ones like, i want to loose 2 pounds by ___. the more reachable the goal is the better because if you say i want to loose 20 pound sin 3 weeks, you are setting yourself up for a lot of stress and disapointment. Also if you achieve more than your goal, you will feel even better.
 
4. Will Power
I will be honest, i have very little will power. But by doing all these things its so much easier than just saying "i'm going ona diet, gym 6 days a week and no more junk food". if you can do that, great, if not i suggest you follow my tips.

Chapter 1: Sarah
 
“Nick, when are you going to be home?” I asked as I was pacing back and fourth like a nervous wreck. My hand was so hot and sweaty; the phone was starting to slip.
 
“I’ll be home around six. What’s wrong?” He said in a calm and soothing voice.
 
“It’s Keila; she had a bad day at school. Her teacher called and Keila came home in tears.”
 
“Sarah, I’m so sorry you are upset and that Keila was, but I have to get back to work. I’ll be home soon.”
 
“Okay. I’ll tell you what happened when you get home.” We exchanged goodbyes and I hung up the phone.
 
Earlier today afterschool Keila came in the door, looked at me with a hurt expression, and ran to her room crying. This was not a rare occurrence. She comes home this upset a few times a month. Immediately I went upstairs to talk to her but it was no use. She shut me out just like she shuts out the world. She closed her eyes and sobbed into her knees. Her long dark brown hair covered her face so I couldn’t see her tears coming from her big green eyes that are identical to my very own. I rubbed her back and still attempted to get her to talk but it didn’t work. I decided it was best to let her be and I went downstairs to wait for Nick to get home.
 
When I have down time I love to watch TV. Most people now watch 3D TV but I still prefer the older shows that don’t have those effects. My favorite show is from the late 1990’s and early 2000’s, Friends. I didn’t grow up watching it but when I was older my mother got me into it.
 
While I was watching Friends, the phone rang. After social networking websites took off in the earlier 2000’s, websites like Facebook and the newer one ConnectMe expanded to phones so whenever someone calls it comes up with their name, profile picture, and location. I looked to see who was calling and it was Keila’s teacher Mrs. Mackie. Since Keila wasn’t talking, maybe her teacher would.
 
“Hello, Mrs. Mackie.” I answered
 
“Hi Sarah.” she said
 
“By chance do you know why Keila was so upset today?”
 
“That’s why I was calling. She was struggling a lot in English today and when the other teacher Mrs. Necter, who often times helps Keila offered to help, she refused. When Keila was getting more upset and frustrated with the work, Mrs. Necter sat with her and just began to help her. Keila said she was fine but Mrs. Necter wasn’t going to just get up and leave while she was having a hard time. Mrs. Necter ended up staying with Keila until dismissal.” Mrs. Mackie explained.
 
“Oh well that explains it. She must have just been a little embarrassed.” I knew that there had to be something more but I figured it was better to ask Keila than her teacher. “Thank you Mrs. Mackie. Have a nice day!” I said and hung up the phone.
 
Then Keila came out of her room. Her hair was tucked behind her ears so her face could be seen. Her eyes were red like a rose and her fair skin was flushed.
 
“What on earth happened Keila?” I asked walking over to her. “Your teacher called and told me what happened but I want to hear it from you.” I finished saying.
 
She rolled her eyes. “That witch doesn’t know what happened.” She said as if she had been hung upside down and drained of all her emotions.

“Then what happened Keila?”
 
Then Keila stared off ignoring my question and walked away back to her room and slammed the door.

Update: Why i abadoned polyvore for awhile
I haven't been on polyvore lately but i'm going to start useing it again. its a great way to exspress yourself!
 
Anyways i stopped useing polyvore because i went through a depression. My home situation wasn't good and i was just misreable and depressed as a result of it. My family was always fighting and sometimes i would be man handled by my moms bf or by my mom (but mainly her bf), like he would grab me or pull on me or push me to do something or go somewhere. This lasted from October thro like Febuary. I was hospitalized for attempted suicide in January and stayed there for 2 weeks. I was also self harming. Torwards the end near febuary two DCYF reports were filled aginst my mom (i forget what DCYF stands for but its when a social worker will come out and investigate child abuse) because i showed my teacher a bruise my mom left me and also the school filled one for neglect because after i was hospitalized she failed to get me some after help for my depression when teh school set it all up and she just had to call them back to comfirm that they could take me to the support group.
 
After one really bad fight i asked if i could go to the local childrens home because that was going to happen before. I couldn't handle the stress. So in March i went to a group home to live at and i'm still there. I go home Thursday-Saturday for visits. The group home isn't as bad as it sounds or as i thought it would be. The staff are nice and the girls are actually helpful in the fashion sense hahahah. I dresss better, before i would wear baggy clothes cause i was getting to be overweight ( i weighed 156 pounds when i got there) but now i've lost almost 30 pounds just by eating better and exercising more. I'm at a healthy 128. I also got some guys tips. And i have a awesome boyfriend now. He just asked me out on July 6th but i realllly like this guy and he accepts me for who i am and knows what is going on and stays by me.
 
Anyways under sucky circumstances i moved to the group home but my life is slowly getting better :) Hopefully i can reconnect on here with old friends and new people so just chat me whenever :)
